This week's projects

Stacey turned one!

Here she is with the other Grandma and wearing the poncho I made for here. This poncho is done with the pattern for the

child side way poncho, but using only 1 strand of yarn, Pound of love.
This felted bag, was done a little while ago, but I forgot to post it!




And last is the scarf I am on working on now. The pattern for this scarf is a free download, that you can find scrolling quite a bit on the pattern's section of this site.

Block with Ribbon for your cause

This block was design by Cliff, on the hope that many of us will use it for charity purposes. I tested it, and add it the edges, and wrote the pattern. It is free, and just waiting for you to do something for the cause close to your heart.
       I guess this are the 2 closest to my heart, being a breast cancer survivor and a mother of someone that served on Iraq as a Marine.


I thank Cliff for the design and I hope you will use this pattern.

The pattern is done on word by word instructions, using  Intarsia, and for the ones that like using charts, it has a chart at the end.
I would appreciate feed back on this combine effort.

Where I am!

Long time not seeing you! I am sorry, I kind of MIA, a lot going on. I have to baby sit quite a lot more, so you see, the father of my 3 older kids was the main babysitter for Rebe's kids (Cindy, Vicci and Mr. Gumball) and over 1 month ago, he suffered a massive stroke. For a couple of week, I think we went on circles, now we are just hoping he can regain some movement.
So I have been looming:

I finished Mr. Bunny! And he is already on the way to his permanent Home. Mr. bunny is a Little Easter present for a friend.

Now I started a purple one for my daughter.

The scarf is also out of the board. I don't think my son will be using it until next winter, is already getting pretty warm.

The model is Bob.

Both are done with Kiss Loom, the bunny is using it as a loom, head, body and ears are done on the round, arms and legs, are done as flat pieces.

The scarf is using the Kiss Loom as a board, with stockinette stitch. I am not sure if the pockets show very good, but it has 2 pockets.

Long time since the last post. I have been pretty busy!

I am pretty happy how it turn out. Most of it is done using Goliat.

Mr. GumBall turned 3 this week , he really enjoyed his Birth Day party.

Here he is running around.

Made quite a few hats and booties:

                       Also some socks:

Finished a baby blanket on Pane Stitch, for a baby shower, that we are having this week, it is in 2 shades of pink.

Now I am felting another brimmed hat:

And last I am working on a very long scarf for my son, he wants it with a pocket on each side, most likely it will be done for next winter:

E-wrap cast on for the square Kiss Loom

Another clip, this is the e-wrap cast on and using the corner pin.

Kiss Loom-square conf. u-stitch

This little clips show how to work on u-stitch without skipping the first peg.

This technique is use for flat panels that are going to be put together.
