Tubular cast on

The Tubular cast on is a very strechy cast on. I like it for small children/babies has, booties, and slippers.

Tips one for the Kiss Loom

Neck line-picking up stitches.

This little video is to show how to pick up the stitches on the neck line, while using the Kiss Loom.
I have done a piece just to try a certain neck line, I frogged the neck band and used that piece to demonstrate on  the video; that is why some of the stitches, look bigger, because they were on the pegs, at one time on their life time.

This week's projects

The little summer dress is finished!
I did it by gut feelings, my Princess is away camping, and I think is too small for her, after Rebeca's comment! Oh, well might end up being for the littlest Princess.

This is done on the Kiss, and not using any short rows, another one of those techniques, unique to the Kiss.
By putting more washers on one end than the other, you can accomplish something pretty similar to a piece done using short rows.

Here is how the yoke of the dress was done.
The skirt part was also done using the same principle.




And last 2 pair of booties, on the Little Kiss, 16 pegs, on 2 different gauges, and 2 different yarns.
Now, Have a great looming time!

This week's projects

Most of the weekend gone! But it is good, I got the pattern done, and I have Mr. Gumball.
Still working on the second Summer Top, the one with Ribbon Yarn.
Then another panel for the crazy afghan:



Some hats, a pair of booties, and a few rows on the monster:

Summer Top

The Pattern for the Summer top is ready.
The one on the picture is done using the Kiss Loom.
The stitch is the Skip and Purl, instructions for it are included on the pattern. The Gauge is 17 pegs by 30 rows for 4" by 4".
The sweater is done to fit 36" bust.
